John Palmer comes from Solomon Islands. 

He joined the MSG Secretariat in 2015. 

He brings with him regional experience being a former staff member of USP, FSPI and SPC. 

He had also served in the Solomon Islands Government and Solomon Islands Ports Authority before entering the workforce at a regional level.
