Online consultative meeting with Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a success

A successful online meeting was conducted via ZOOM on 24 September 2020 between senior staff of the MSG Secretariat in Port Vila, Vanuatu, led by the Acting Director General George Hoa’au, and a team from the Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by the Deputy Secretary Esala Nayasi.
The online meeting was an opportunity for the MSG Secretariat to provide an update on its undertakings, which also included the discussion of some important organisational policy matters.
The Meeting also provided the need for the Secretariat to review its 2020 work programme in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Such a review is necessary to better inform the Secretariat’s 2021 Work Programme and Budget.
