Christopher Waiwori
Senior Executive Advisor
Christopher Nisbert Waiwori is from the Solomon Islands. He joined the Secretariat in July 2018. Before this appointment, he was Secretary to the Parliamentary Leader of Independent Members and formally a National Consultant and Policy Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands.
Mr. Waiwori served in various senior policy and political advisory roles in the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and Office of the Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition. He was also Secretary to three separate Government sanctioned Commission of Inquiries in the Solomon Islands.
He assumes the role of the Senior Executive Advisor and is responsible for the overall affairs of the Executive Unit including the Office of the Director General.
Mr. Waiwori has a Honors Degree in Political Science from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
